The performer’s father, a famous actor and musician Alan Thicke promoted Robin a love to Bruce Springsteen’s compositions, while Robin’s mother, an actress Gloria Loring, introduced to her son the creativity of Luther Vandross and Whitney Houston. This way the young Thicke fell in love with music, and pretty soon he started trying his own strength in the field of songwriting.
That is how Robin Thicke’s career began – he did not start performing just at once, instead he had been writing songs for other artist for some time.
