The BIP File Extension are listed predominantly as 3D Image Files. Both desktop and mobile devices enable you to view and (sometimes) edit these files, depending on the software used. BIP files have a 'Low' Popularity Rating; this means that they are not present on most devices.
- Image description files. There are three description files that can be provided with BIL, BIP, or BSQ files: a header file (.hdr) that describes the layout of the image pixel data and must be provided, a color file (.clr) that describes the image color map, and a statistics file (.stx) that describes image statistics for each band of the image.

The BSQ, BIL, and BIP formats represent ways of storing 24-bit images in memory or on disk. The initials stand for band-sequential, band-interleaved-by-line, and band-interleaved-by-pixel.

Open Bib Files

Log on | Enables you to log in to BI Publisher. Enter your user name and password. Select or enter the URL for the BI Publisher Report Server (see your Administrator if you do not know the URL). When you log on, the Open Template dialog is displayed. You must log in directly to the BI Publisher server. For example:http://www.example.com:7001/xmlpserver . |
Open | After you log on, this command becomes available to enable you to open a report in the BI Publisher catalog. |
Upload Template | Adobe zii media encoder. If you used the Open Template dialog to download a template from the BI Publisher catalog, use this option to upload the updated layout back to the report definition in the catalog. |
Upload Template As | If you used the Open Template dialog to download a template or to open a report from the catalog, use this option to upload the layout to the report definition in the catalog. Also use this option to upload modifications to an existing template under a different name. |
Save XML Data | If you are working in connected mode, then use this command to save the data to a local directory if you also need access to the data in disconnected mode. |
